Messianic Jewish Temples in Portland???
Need help! Are there any Messianic Congregation in Portland, ME or nearby?? We are trying to pick a location for our retirement between Portland, Camden, or Augusta, Maine and religion is a big plus.
Any messianic believers out there that would like to connect...please email me.

Check out Google. I think their temples are fairly well spread out. I have a friend whose in laws practice this religion. It was the first time I had ever heard of it but found it very interesting since its close but not the same as how I was raised.

Since there are no Jewish Delis around here, let alone a real bagel shop, I would say probably not.

Marcus, I Googled +messianic +temple +Maine and found a directory. I only found one entry in Maine, which is in Belfast. It's called Messianic Torah Study, and is organized by Clay Stimpson, 9 B Penobscot Terrace, Belfast ME 04915, (207) 338-0270, a1clay@mint.net. |

Did you ever find a Messianic Jewish Temple near Portland, Maine? We are thinking about relocating there from Tennessee and would be interested in attending if one exists.

There is a Messianic fellowship in Maine. The main office is in Oxford but the meetings are in Scarborough every other Shabbat. Very informal with some Hebrew liturgy.
