The Christmas tree they put up is just lights strung vertically....no tree. They're beans are infinately better than Bush's baked beans. Bush's baked beans are the only canned beans I have thrown into a campfire even though I was hungry. We're talking bad here!

Hanneford's has been selling the B&M beans for a dollar a can.....seems like a good deal. I had wondered if they were going out of business.

Default I miss my Nana's!

I miss my great grandmother's homemade baked beans! She died when I was young but I still remember them. We have a picture of her in the kitchen in Eastport pulling them out of the oven. Yumm!!!!

Baked beans are certainly a traditional New England "comfort food"!

DW drove by there coming from PWM lastnight and said she didn't notice if the sign was still down or not. It was definitely blown down as the news reported. As for changes in management/ownership issues I have heard nothing. I do know for sure they're making beans there still.

Totally agreed! But the Bush people have a better marketing team. The X we inherited the money and company generation of spoiled kids over at B&M better get it in gear and strike back!

agreed B&M over bush beans.....but still no where near as good as home made.....there is a little bitterness to B&M unless they are doctored up just a bit.
