I have always met nice people on the clam flats, Mardens Discount, and the recycling center (formerly called the dump).

If you follow your interests....what ever it is tht you like to do....you have the best chance of meeting folks who you will have something in common with. Get out and do your thing....

my social center is always my church....I meet people who share some of my beliefs or at least whose beliefs are compatible with mine....I meet people who are into t he arts and music.....I meet people who respect and honor the earth and I meet people who are passionate about social issues that matter to me.....and a wide diversity of experiences and who are interesting to know. But if I went to theatre or music venues or participated in political affairs or went on bird walks or played a sport or actively persued any other interest....that would work as an introduction.

Follow the sound of gunfire to the nearest sand pit. We're just a bunch of god old boys and gals!

Maine seems to be a land of many dog lovers. If you have one, walk your dog. It's a great way to meet people!
