Default close to Portland - Beaverton :)

Hi everyone,
We( me, my wife and cat) are about to move to Portland, and as we are looking to rent for the first year, I am down to three choices, as far as places to live, and would like to ask your opinion/feelings/knowledge/experiences about them, if you would be so kind of sharing with us.
I will be working nearby Salmon and Fifth, and did look into three main locations to rent :
First, Beckenridge apts., near St Vincent Medical Center. Seems to be a nice area, Max station close, and good Hwy access too - plus might be able to bike commute
Second, Seneca Hills, near Orenco Station - great community, a little further away from the city, with Max very close by.
Third is King's Court, west of 185Th and south of Walker road.Seems to be a busier but nice community, also with Max station close, and still close access to both downtowns.
And there is also a fourth choice -backup - that is south of 26 on NW Cornell Road - where there is a single lane each side only. Seems to have a lot of traffic, and Max station to be further away.
Does anyone know these neighborhoods/locations, and would like to share what you know about it?
I prefer to stay sort of close to the MAX, need a safe and quiet neighborhood
Yes, I was ther( Portland Oregon) this last Thursday, but a drive-by does not give you enough info
Thanks once again for any info
Phil

Welcome! I live near the Breckenridge Apartments, and while I can't speak for those apartments per se, I can tell you the area is the most accessible to downtown, of the three you mentioned. It's right on the #20 busline and takes about 15 minutes to get downtown. It's close to services and freeway access, too.

Hi Suncat,
Thanks for the reply.
The MAX/commuter train is very nearby too, right? - just after the hospital going west...
Services - I assume you mean, shopping area, Grocery store, etc?
