My family and I (3 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats) are moving in January to Portland. My husband has a job at sunnyside kaiser hospital. I have read great reviews on the schools in all four of these communities. Can someone familiar with all of them comment on the general vibe and reputation of the schools?
thanks so much

I went to West Linn schools for K-8 and then transfered to the Riverdale school district for High School. West Linn and L.O. have excellent education, and being WL and LO they are extremely well funded. All the schools in Oregon seem to face budget problems on a regular basis, but based on what we had versus what I saw people on the other sides of town having, I'd say we got the better deal. Now in College I feel like I had a good education from both West Linn and Riverdale. It would be wise for you to check out Riverdale if you are looking to stay public and live in a "high-rent" part of town.
