Default How is living in Tualatin?

I have about a month to find a place to live in Portland. Ive lived in NE Glisan close in before, Kerns Neighborhood and wouldnt mind that again for my wife and daughter to get around. Bt I was wondering if Tualatin was a good place to live for a family and is it walkable(to shops, library, cafes etc)?
I got the job but now I have to find housing

Tualatin is suburban, and mostly car-oriented.

But it will be a loss to not be able to walk to restaurants, parks and cafes. I know Hillsboro has a little town center perhaps thats the place to go

I've lost contact with a friend. Does anyone know Robert Raymond? Thought he moved to this area from Sherwood a few years ago.
