I ran into this blog this morning and I thought it was interesting, not necessarily the content of the poster himself, but some of the comments. I do not know when this blog was written or who wrote it, I just thought I'd offer it up to some of the folks thinking of relocating to Portland. Some of you may have already seen it, and if that's the case sorry for re-posting. I just found it to be amusing for whatever reason.

Having said that, I am not a Portland hater or basher. I think Portland is one of the three best cities in the United States. However, it is not nirvana. No place is. There are drawbacks to living here as much as there are anywhere. Being in a sweatshirt and a jacket to take my dog to the park today, the middle of May, kinda sucks, for instance.

Anyway, here's the link. Please don't blow up about what a jerk I am. I'm just giving people a fair evaluation from someone who used to live here and had some complaints.

I love Portland. But like I said, there are some things that can get annoying. I think this guy pointed out some of those things.

Yeah, that ones been around for a while, but thanks for reposting it.
I think the comments are better than the blog itself though!
