Interesting, thanks!

I kind of have become accustomed to just taking it with a grain of salt every time I hear someone in OR talk about how "abnormal" the weather is, whether it be rainfall, temperatures, snow, or cloudiness. Guess I just came in with low expectations.

But I am ready for a little more warmth now!

Interesting article.

While it is a pain to be wetter and colder here, that is much preferrable to the horrible droughts in the south. I wonder if the La Nina pattern is in part responsible for those massive tornadoes in the deep south?

I too am looking forward to some warmer temps and we have been getting some teaser warm and partly sunny days lately that have me ready for some real summer

Yeah it's because Pacific Northwest sent a barrage of cold fronts to the plains, colliding the hot and humid front, creating intense thunderstorms, dumping rains, hails, record flooding and deadly tornadoes combined with record heats in South and Record drought in texas. People here are complaining about how cool and wet it has been while people in Texas is complaining of drought and wildfires, in the South the people are complaining of August temps in May-June and these damn floods and tornadoes.

To me it's been exactly the same as last last spring. I just hope ~ really, REALLY hope! ~ summer is better than last year's.

We'll know in the next couple of weeks. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it though.

You may want to go ahead and start planning a vacation to Mexico, Hawaii, L.A., Orlando, or some place similar.

Been nice and cool so far, hope summer is short and cool as well. (Unlikely, but I can dream, can't I)?
