So I took a drive this morning to Molalla, and the Chevron was abuzz from a bigfoot sighting earlier this month. Their general area was also featured in the Bigfoot Hunters TV show and a few other bigfoot groups. The Molalla River and Willamette Nat'l Forest is apparently the PNW hotspot for them!

I'm intrigued. And I don't really want to go camping out there anymore

Anyone have any stories? Thoughts? Opinions?

Well, if your interested in Bigfoot, you are in the right part of the country.
There have been stories/sightings around here for hundreds of years.

Check out this site:
Oregon Bigfoot reports sasquatch sightings, photos, pictures, sound files, recordings

BTW, This is my buddy Ralph. He loves Snickers bars and orange sherbert.

LOL I looked at that site...it cracks me up. Any unexplained noise, sound, or smell gets reported.

I want visual evidence!

Does Ralph like beef jerky too? Harassin sasquatch!

I've spent about 50 years mucking around in the woods south of Mt Hood and have seen and heard some wierd, unexplainable things.

But never a Bigfoot.

30 years here. I *THINK* I've seen Bigfoot on the other side of a clear cut just at sun down. This was east of this location up in the Mt. Hood forest. I didn't realize exactly what it could have been until the morning when I realized that the stumps it had gone between were taller then I thought.

You know, I have an acquaintance who swears they saw a Bigfoot. But it was down in the Coast Range. Do I believe it? I don't know ... anything's possible. But I believe that he believes it.

I've lived here my whole life (36yrs) and my fathers family has been here since the late 1800's. I've been backpacking since I was 9 years old and been to almost every part of the cascades in Wa state and in Or and can tell you from my experience, and my fathers and grandfathers experience of spending a lot of time in the NW woods hunting and backpacking that the whole Bigfoot thing is BS. no such thing. Those TV shows that are on now with these tools looking for a "squatch" are nothing more than city people transplants chasing ghosts. They will never find anything and never will, they don't exsist.

I'm no back-packer but I don't buy any of it either... if such a creature was real why haven't we ever found, for example, some remains of this creature? Maybe a nest/home/something? All we get are stories, some foot prints (easily man-made) foot prints once in a while, and noises/smells that could belong to just about anything.
