Oregon looks like the place for me! I'm weird and the sun makes me depressed and cloudy/grey days make me happy Might be moving there by the summer.

Parts of Oregon have a lot of sunny weather. And you do not want to be wierd in most small Oregon towns.

If you are considering Portland, the dislike of sun and liking cloudy grey days will be a plus for you. But I would still take it easy on the "weird."

I was just meaning weird in the type of weather I like but I am curious to know the weird you are talking about? Because my fiance and I are not conservative by any means. We do have tattoos and piercings so I don't want to be ran out of town if this is the type of 'weird' you are talking about.

My mom use to live in Ashland and there seemed to be a lot of unusual people there and that is a small town.

Oh I see. I didn't realize you were referring to the weather. In Portland liking grey skies and cloudy weather is not weird at all. Nor are piercings or tattoos.

Sometimes people say they are weird as an excuse for coming here and acting like idiots.

No worries about blending in in Portland. There are liberal people and conservative people here. It's pretty much live and let live.

Oh ok! That sounds much better then. I currently live in Tucson so not loving the sun makes me a very weird person here haha
