When did they discontinue those routes? I used to take a bus to both those suburbs but it was a long time ago.

there isn't a south end rd. one any more

and i don't think west lin has ever had a bus that goes up the hill

Well I do remembering visiting a friend in West Linn in the 80's. Maybe she picked me up from Lake Oswego. I traveled there from SE.

theres a skate park up there now and no bus. that kinda sucks

i would have built it down below by the bus

Our house hunt went well, and my husband and I secured a rental this weekend. It is a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath in NE with a short commute to downtown. It's a great vintage house in a nice area, and it came in just under our budget. We are very pleased, and looking forward to our impending move.

Thank you to everyone for your helpful suggestions! To everyone who is looking for a place, it can be done.

I am sure we will have more questions as we settle in. Right now I need to make sure we get packed, and get ourselves and our kitties up there in time for my husband's first day of work!
