MapleLeaf is on a distinguished road
Default Winter sport in Hillsboro

Was wondering what are the closest good ski areas close to Hillsboro.
Are there public skating rings over there?

Oh boy, the closest ice skating rink i think would be in Raligh Hills.....
But WAIT! There is SkateWorld in Hillsboro for a roller rink. Will that count?
Ummm, to ski, the closest would be Mt Hood. theres a variety of places once you get on the mountain. Ski Bowl, Timberline, and a couple others....look up Timberline, its pretty cool, they filmed part of the original "THE SHINING" there at the lodge. The lodge alone is worth a day trip!

I love Timberline Lodge! I love Arts and Crafts stuff in general, but there's something extra special about Timberline. It's a great day trip when there's snow or not!

No, roller rink doesn't count! lol

I mean ice rinks.
My son's favorite activity is hockey (ice hockey!). I was looking on the Web for some hockey house league for kids, but didn't find any. (except one in Beaverton, but their website is so poor that I didn' get if they have some minor leagues).
Is somebody can give us some info?
