Default Weather in late September...

Possibly traveling through Portland during the last week of September this year. Locals... I know weather is always a guessing game, but what's should I expect/plan the weather to be like in Portland during the last week September.

Summer usually lasts late here, often into October. So, it shouldn't be bad.

Agreed.

One never knows when it will rain here so always be prepared, but in general late September is pretty nice. According to Weather.com, the average high in late September (for Portland) is in the mid 70's and we average 1.61" of rain for the month.

Late Septemeber? My crystal ball says.... Good luck. its going to be 50% sunny 40% cloudy/showery and 10% dreary. In 2011 it rained on the 24-27 but prior and after were nice. In 2010 it was mostly cloudy with showers but a few days were 80s and sunny.. In 2009 it was generally nice during that time but at the very end of the month things went downhill fast. In 2008 it was beautiful and hot.
