If you won't at least do that, then your statements about Portland weather are not factual, and are therefore opinions.
Then they are just as good or bad as the other guys opinions, so I guess there is no problem here?

We would all like to know the absolute objective, factual, verifiable truth about Portland weather, and where all that valuable information resides.

If you know, it's not fair for you to keep all that knowledge to yourself.
I'm so very tired of trying to respond to your snotty little posts . Look elsewhere for your fun.

So how did Oregon earn its rainy reputation?
A combination of factors, no doubt, but a little-known organization called the James G. Blaine Society may have played a major role.
The Blaine society, founded in the 1960s, was an unofficial group with just one goal: to portray Oregon as a rainy state so that no one else would move there. If you sympathized with the society’s goal you would do your best to reinforce the rainy image. Traveling out of state you would be sure to say, “Wow, sunshine. I haven’t seen any for months.”
This is fun.

This is fun.
I think I lived elsewhere when it fired up, but I thought the idea was BRILLIANT! I think (not sure) Tom McCall had some fun with it.

Today the sky is a beautiful blue, and the sun is warming the house through the south windows. The temperature outside is mild.

Always get a conversation going about the rain. People should bless the rain. It's an ice breaker. Or at least it is better than rain that turns to ice!! Oh, and by the way, let the rain track somewhere else and watch all kinds of things suffer. The Mississippi is at historic lows. Shipping is in distress on the Mississippi. Reason? No rain.
