When I worked in Wilsonville I went back and forth without ever using I5.
But when I am trying to go home to Portland from working all day out in wine country I hate to backtrack south to go north.

True, we go south (but like by half a mile, so not much) to get on the freeway to go north. But it is a heck of a lot less time to do that then to take TS Road.

the 3rd access to I-5 I have talked about in the other wilsonville forums was to help bypass traffic off and on to sherwood, as far as i know it is a dead deal, so if you are in sherwood you will be on the sherwood tualatin hwy trying to get onto the freeway.

littlepeg--I live in Sherwood and do not use TS road for freeway access. No way, lol! The north Wilsonville access works really well from here, and if we are headed south, then we take more backroads til we get down to the south Wilsonville area.

Well this is part of the lack of road planning going on in the metro area, these side roads were not ment for the type of side traffic that they are supporting. Push for the boeckman creek offramp, it will help the entire problem, I know mind my own business, I have moved from the area, but I want new people moving in to not be lulled into the old, just use the side road thinking, can you honestlly say you can get onto I-5 after 2 in the afternoon from either the north wilsonville or the wilsonville exit without a prolonged wait?

Getting to the freeway from the way we go is never a problem. Now heading north on I-5 from about 3:30 onward is usually pretty congested during the rush hour. I don't need to go north in the afternoons hardly ever though. I either head into downtown in the morning or else when we go for a night out. The south Wilsonville route to the freeway has always been heavier in our experience, but the north Wilsonville is very quick and easy. My husband uses this route daily for commuting into downtown Portland and says it is not a problem.

Out of curiosity, I timed my trips today. From my home in Sherwood to the north Wilsonville onramps, it took me 8 minutes. That includes being behind a school bus for a while, stopped by a flagger for tree trimming, and stopped at 2 stop lights. On my way home from running errands. I timed a different route. From Whole Foods by the Lake Oswego/I-5 interchange, via Herman Road, it took me 13 minutes. Both of those are much, much faster than TS Road.
