Yeah, Marco's is still open and serving great food. I eat there quite often when I am in MV. It's far better than Fat City Cafe, which I actually find disgusting!

Wow, when did plain ol' "Multnomah" become "Multnomah village"?
We used to live off Barbur Blvd not too far from Multnomah. I tried out Google's new "street view" thing yesterday and found our old house. We sold it in 1990 and it's still painted "Portland School District Green" (my husband's label for that ugly color that we never got around to covering up!)

anyone ever eat at O'Conners there in Multnomah Village?
NChomesomeday, do you remember the carasal being in the Burger King right there by Fred Meyers? They moved it out several years ago and turned that area into a HUGE indoor playground, one of those that looks like a hampster paradise. My kids LOVE it. lol But I miss the carasal being there.

I vaguely remember the carousel. We didn't have kids when we lived in Portland, so I wasn't as cognizant of things like that. Conversely, I can tell you where almost every tot-lot in Seattle and Fairfax Cty VA are!
