Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a preowned, decent, 3-room, manufactured house in summer 2008 for $ 80,000 or below in the Portland suburb? It should be at most 15 minutes from Woodstock Boulevard and 30 minutes from downtown.

you could if its in one of the 55+parks....I know around here (S.O.coast) you can get them for that price in a regular park, im not sure about up there though. I doubt you could get one on a private lot for that price. Although, i could be wrong. I know you cant here. We looked at some down my way (where prices tend to be lower) and for exactly what you described, they were asking about 130thous. and that was not in a park, but in a "neighborhood" of other manufactered homes.
