Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what parts of town to look at to find a workshop space for rent suitable for general woodworking. Any other tips (or resources) for finding a space would also be appreciated. I have tried looking online but have not had too much luck.

Thanks,
John

Search craigslist, and if you find nothing suitable, post your own ad there.

I'm in the inner SE ... and there seem to be quite a number of woodworking shops around.

This group might be a good resource for you.

Before I moved here I heard about this resource. They're not wood specific like Enrico's link, but they do have woodworking tools and they have a site in Portland. I've yet to go but it's on my lists. I ended up with shop space attached to my rental house but no tools.

I would think any where that caters to people who are woodworkers, whatever service or product they provide, would be a good resource.

Other woodworkers are going to be the people in the know.

Default Workshop space

I am also looking for a wood shop space. I have quite a few tools and would like to find a space to share.
