Chick-fil-A looking to open restaurant, drive-thru in Hillsboro, documents show | OregonLive.com

Good news that one of the most successful fast food franchises will be making an appearance in the Portland metro! I can't wait to get some chicken sammiches.

This is really all that needs to be said.

Oh good, another fast food restaurant I don't go to. I probably won't notice if they ever open up here. Though I don't really get out to Hillsboro all that often.

Should have opened it up in Clackamas. I see the Clackamas crowd being more interested in Chik-fil-A than the West side crowd. Chick-fil-A is overrated and overpriced. I could give a crap about the defense of marriage blah blah blah. I keep hoping for a Texas Roadhouse.

I know, I don't remember their chicken sandwiches being all that good. I always thought they tasted weird.

Since moving to TX, I've enjoyed their range of options from healthy options to glutton ones. Just FYI it is fast food after all. Don't expect their food to taste better than sit-downs and the like.

I don't think Chick-fil-a tastes that great.

Same. I am very excited to support their business and eat their tasty food. It will be a great addition to the Portland area. I know it'll do very well there and hope many more stores open up in the Portland metro area. I believe Seattle has 3 coming.
