I may be accepting a job offer in downtown Portland. I have a house in Arizona that I will lease out furnished. I need to find a furnished apartment in Portland preferable under 2000k a month. All I need is a studio or 1 bedroom. Can anyone suggest anything? I have a tiny dog.

Between Ikea and Goodwill you can furnish an apartment pretty cheaply so don't limit yourself to furnished apartments, particularly with a dog.

Craigslist is the go-to place to search.

Costco sells furniture, delivers & sets it up as well. I have used their foam mattress for several years and love it. For studio living you could consider their Coraline or Josephine Loungers which makes into a bed.

If you don't mind taking the train in, you could easily do that in Beaverton or Hillsboro and either furnish it yourself or rent furnishings through one of several corporate rental places. Again, if you take the train, you can find 1 bedrooms for $1000-$1100 all along the MAX line on the west side away from downtown Portland. You can drive in too but like any city, rush hour sucks.
