Recommendations to a good general contractor? (West Linn: area, interior, pay)

Now that family has confirmed a summer visit, can't procrastinate any longer, so need to get started on that bathroom renovation! We are in the West Linn area and are looking to update two bathrooms, as well as have interior painting done throughout.

In search of a general contractor who is detailed oriented, does the work himself or at least is present to supervise the work, and doesn't charge an arm and a leg (after taking the first born!) Though, in all seriousness, willing to pay a bit more for a quality job and especially for someone who has an eye for what goes well with what, to help me narrow down all the choices.
