If anyone knows of a good apartment building in NW, unfurnished that accepts small dogs, it would be most appreciated!

As I haven't been a renter for 50 years I can't tell you of any 'good', or 'bad', apartment buildings. Here is what I would do: go on Craigslist or PadMapper and locate listings in your price range that say that they accept a dog. Make a list of the property managers/buildings. Then go to ApartmentRatings.com and look for comments mindful of the fact that many more unhappy tenants post than satisfied tenants. Refine your list. Call the landlords. If you are renting from a distance I would limit myself to large properties with professional management.

My late husband and I moved from NW so that we could get a dog. Not a lot of pet friendly apartments in NW, but good luck.

Tons of pet friendly buildings in NW, it's the price range that's the issue. Cheaper you go the less likely they accept dogs.

Maybe in the Pearl District, but that is not typically what people think of when they say "NW". Where would these tons of them be? Just curious.

I just did a check and didn't find much. I found one apartment in NW accepting pets in about 10 min search.
When I do give info, I try to be accurate. If I am mistaken I apologise, but stand by what I originally said at this point.

I'm thinking of the Pearl district. 1300-1500 1 bedroom or studio. Thank you!

The new, nice places in NW take pets. I don't think I encountered a single apartment building that didn't accept pets last time I was looking.

The catch is you have to have the money for it. $1500 won't get you much in a new building, especially if that needs to include pet rent or parking.
