If I could take Portland's water quality and fresh air and bring it to LA, it would be my paradise!

I have a crappy skin condition which gets worse with the water down here... and since I live in a rental I can't really install a water softener which sucks!

Eventually I might move up to the pacific northwest because my body will thank me...

im planning a trip from LA to portland then seattle and then vancouver .. (never been) so i want to check out each city to see if i like them.
California has water still?

After talking to my friend it seems you'll have more trouble finding a rental. Seems a lot of people are just moving out there without anywhere to live as the homeless population is just under 4,000 people now (that's about 2.5 times what it was just 5 years ago).

If you're moving from San Francisco you'll think it's shockingly cheap! If you're moving from Plano, TX you'll think it's really expensive.
