The Clinton St. area also seems to be a younger age group (close in SE). I lived near People's Coop at one time, and really liked the neighborhood, with people who walked in the evenings, communal gardens and classes, a good neighborhood feel.

Great suggestions! We live near beaverton now and don't care for the suburban feel. We were thinking of moving somewhere that caters to the young late 20s-earlier 30s type. Now we have a a guide when our lease is up.

Beaverton's gone downhill a tad lately anyway. I'd move somewhere on the downtown side of the west hills like goose hollow or NW 23rd district, but be prepared for high rent and parking fiascos. I've lived downtown for a short period and it was way more fun than suburbia for the most part but yeah, cheaper rent and free/easy parking is not one of the perks.
