Even though I lived outside Portland (Newberg) for many years I never had any reason to seek out an RV site, Am going to Portland early August to see family and friends. Driving in my motorhome. I prefer to stay in a park, rent a car and drive to see them for visits. Any suggestions? I don't mind a short drive outside town but like an hour is too far. I'll mostly be taking the 205 into an area around the Foster exit.

My rv is a class A and I need a full hook-up site with 50 amp and I have 2 slide outs. Looking to stay a week. Thanks in advance

Most often folks stay in the 2-3 RV parks near East Walmart (23500 NE Sandy Blvd, Wood Village, OR 97060)

or... in Portland, you can now just park along a city park with the homeless in their 'new' rigs. (Even Laurelhurst Park!) If you are 'creative' you can get the 50 amps with some 'clamp-on' jacks the illegal growers use to bypass electric meters. Just be careful to not get burnt (fried). But it is really quite simple to hijack up to 400Amps. (Should be able to run the whole street of RV's on that)
