Nice photos. And much more artistic.

Don't you just love the pink "snow" on the ground when the blossoms start falling?

Finally someone who got outside and took some pictures of the beauty!!! But wait... you should be banned for not showing the rain, low clouds and gloom. How dare you show blue sky and rain on everyone's gloom parade!

Thanks for dispelling the Portland myth of 9 months of endless rain and darkness.

gypsydoc is on a distinguished road
Lately, my glass has been totally full... ha...
You're right about the beauty! Went to Multnomah Falls not too long ago and the quantity of water is amazing! Thunders so loud you can hardly hear yourself yell..! One thing I like here is that because it is on the cool side (!!) blooms tend to last longer on the trees and in gardens. Up on Powell Butte, seeing the incredible snow cover on Mt. Hood, Adams, Helen, Jefferson and the range layered behind in pure white... well. It's a lovely sight.

this is to satisfy the gloom-sayers. Honestly, I like the gray, it's much better than these pictures make it out to be. It's more akin to a bright white sky this time a year, occasionally going gray to rain on you, like today. But I like that as well.

These were all taken 3-6 weeks ago. It's actually much more beautiful now, the green is really starting to show. I've been doing more digital video stuff though than still photographs of late. You need motion to fully capture the falling flower petals.

Great stuff Hymalaia!!! You are the Man or Woman! I love those colors and the way you captured them in different lighting. My favorite is the second one. Those trees are on fire with color. Thanks again for sharing!
