Default Portland vs L.A

I think Portland is a million times nicer than L.A. except for the weather.

People complain about Portland's traffic, but compared to L.A. its childs play!

I drove through LA once. Just ONCE. I learned I do NOT belong anywhere near that area! Bad part, it was about 5.00pm...worse part was it was the first time Id ever driven a stick...bad bad bad. lol - I was doing 75 and people were honking at me I drove through LA once. ONCE. I learned I do NOT belong anywhere near that area! Bad part, it was about 5.00pm...worse part, it was the first time Id ever driven a stick...bad bad bad. lol - I was doing 75 and people were honking at me to speed up as they flew past. I felt like a granny. LOL! I must say most everyone there that passed me sure had a lot of confidence! They all had quick reflexes making their vehicles nimble. I would have been quite envious if I hadn’t been so scared. LOL
Of course, California DOES have Disneyland and we have The Enchanted Forest. Oregon sure does come up short in the theme park department!! lol

Well Yes you have Enchanted Forrest, but you also have, ThrillvilleUSA in Turner, just outside Salem, and you have OAKS Amusment Park in Portland. So Thats much better than Disneyland.. besides its so over rated its not even funny. My Favorite ride at DisneyLand was the Waiting in Line.. they had plenty of them rides there.

But Yeah Traffic in Cali, is insane. I hated Truck Driving though the state.

The word, "Traffic," has been re-invented into a new meaning. In Portland, one believes that traffic is the inability, due to congestion, to drive the speed limit. Angelenos see it much differently. People in Los Angeles, think that traffic is congestion to the point of having to stop multiple times on the freeway. Surely, if one can drive 50 mph-It was a glorious day!
