Default Please recommend a dentist in SE PDX/Gresham

My dentist retired and we don't care for the new one and he is not on our insurance. I've asked several friends but theirs aren't on our insurance either. I went to the same dentist for forty years so this is difficult.

Looking for a great dentist in SE Portland or Gresham.

Thanks

I'd be interested in that too. We just moved to the area. Love to hear about an AMAZING pediatric dentist recommendation too.

Alright, there's a fabulous dentist (and fabulous, too, are his assistants) in Tualatin. His office is not far off of I-5, exit 286. Rick Evans, DDS. And more than worth the trip from SE; I'd rather drive an extra 10 miles to get the best of care, than not! (check the teeth!)......hope he works out for you folks.

Thanks but having driven to Wilsonville for nine years for work there is no way I'm driving to Tualatin for a dentist. I no longer have to make that commute and am very glad. It is twenty miles to Tualatin for me.

I do thank you though.

Understood, and don't blame you. Making the trek twice a year is no biggy for me, though. Hope you find a doctor closer to home~and you're more than welcome!

I've had some great work done by Joy Arend at Naughton Dental Clinic at 9 NE 120th Ave. in Portland. She's skilled (filled a tooth another dentist said needed root canal and it has held up over 5 years now), gentle, gives you plenty of information, and is great at controlling costs. I am a self-pay patient and she has always helped me keep the costs reasonable. I recommend her highly.

I found a great dentist in NE but not too far North. He and his staff are very friendly and personable His offices seem a tiny bit on the shabby side but I think he's just getting his practice going. They've been really great about working with me, no matter what the case is, even if it's just rescheduling an appointment. Plus the hygentist is very gentle, which is nice. My friend recommended him to me because her step-mom goes there and loves him too.

Default Gresham and Sandy dentists

I have two great recommendations for you. In the Gresham Station is Dr. Susan Stratton-Miller. She is a great dentist, easy to access in Gresham. I saw her when she was Gentle Dental, before she started her own practice. She's at

1282 NW Civic Drive
Gresham, OR 97030
(503) 661-9696

After she left Gentle Dental and vanished from me, I started seeing Dr. Jim Jim Flerchinger at Chinook Falls Dental in Sandy. He is also great, and Libby is a fantastic hygenist there. He's at:

Chinook Falls Dental Clinic
36840 Industrial Way Suite A
Sandy, OR 97055
(503) 668-8301

My wife has had quite extensive work done by Dr. Jim, and he is great with her, even giving her his home phone # in case issues arise after hours.

Good luck, finding a good dentist can be difficult, but these two are great!

One of the things I'd recommend to people new to town is the Portland-area-specific Angie'slist, a web-based subscription service that allows customers to rate and recommend all kinds of trades and services.

I randomly found the best dentist I've ever let work on my teeth. Dr. Natalia Duvalko of Midland Family Dentistry on SE 122nd and SE Main St. I had my first fillings put in my her and it was painless. Trust me, I needed someone good to be able to actually stick a needle in my mouth. I would greatly recommend her!
