Default Black Hair Salons in Portland

Are there any hair salons that do black hair specifically in Portland?

I'm new to the area and wanted to get my hair done.

Thanks.

Yes, of course...there are several near MLK and NE Killingsworth st. Terrell Brandon's barber shop is the probably largest black hair salon/barber shop in Portland and is near NE Alberta and 13th.

What is life like in Portland? I live in Chicago and want to move from the midwest. I am seeking low crime, low cost of living and a peacful quiet lifestyle.

Don't we all? Getting all three at the same time might not be easy unless you want to go somewhere rural.

Meanwhile, the OP is still trying to get his/her hair done. Any ideas other than "nwroots" suggestions?

Geneva's is a great salon and they have been here in Portland for many many years. Waves, if I am not mistaken has been closed for a little while now.
