Hi --

I'm thinking of buying a 10 year old motorhome, and will want to have it inspected, of course, before buying. I will need to have the coach/RV components inspected, as well as a mechanical inspection of the Dodge chassis.

Can someone please recommend an RV shop/mechanic for pre-purchase inspection (and estimates for repairs, if necessary?)

I'm out of state, so I will be asking the private party seller to drop the RV at the garage for a few days. If it gets a clean (or clean enough) bill of health, I'll travel to Portland to finish the deal.

The seller is in SE Portland, so closer to him would be convenient.

Thanks!

There is an independent "onsite" repair person out there, we used him when our trailer refrig had problems several years ago. That is the guy I would try to find. I found him in the 'yellow' pages.

You might try Johnson RV sales they are great!! They can not only inspect the unit but also can make any repairs or changes you might want.
