Default Teacher Relocating to Oregon

Hello,

I am looking for anyone who is familiar with the current education system in Oregon. I grew up in Canby and moved away for college and to travel. I am getting my teaching certificate this summer and looking to move back to Oregon. I love the entire state but I am now married and have a 9 month old son. I am looking for a small community to raise a family and make a decent living. I am very interested in Lake Oswego and West Linn around the Portland Metro area; Hood River along the Gorge; Klamath Falls, Grants Pass, or Ashland in the South; and Corvalis and Eugene in the valley. Any information on these areas would be great.
