Default Portland proclaimed beardiest city by Portland Monthly

On a light note...the January issue of Portland Monthly magazine has christened Portland the beardiest city in the U.S. Seems like a fairly accurate assessment based on my travels there.

I agree totally. I saw lots of people there with beards. Its quite the opposite from the east coast.
For an urban area, many people have beards.

I like beards as long as they're trimmed very short. Hate the bushy grizzly look.

I do admit to liking long hair on men, though. Always have.

Yay, more beards. I do have to admit I like the trimmed and managed beards (like mine) over the ones that look like a wombat attacked some ones face and stayed for the ride.

Wow. A Portland-based media entity hands out an award to Portland? Has that ever happened before?
