Default visited Beaverton this last weekend!

So I visited Beaverton this last weekend! I've spent a lot of time there in the past, but never with looking at neighborhoods to live in, in mind.

I absolutely loved most of the neighborhoods in Beaverton. Oak Hills, Cedar Mill, Cedar Hills, South Beaverton, Highland Hills, Greenway, and West Beaverton (crappy Aloha schools in that area though).

They all seemed to be in around the same price range (from the house flyers that I picked up), except West Beaverton, which was markedly cheaper, i'm guessing because of the Aloha schools. However, i'm looking to rent (if we move). I'm not seeing a whole lot on Craigslist. I'd be interested in renting a small-med size house (3-4 bed) that are in any of the neighborhoods I mentioned (except west beaverton-because of the schools). Does anyone know where to find listings for homes in those neighborhoods? I see some listed in the Bethany area, or rock creek, or murray hill, but I can't really find anything in the Highland Hills, South Beaverton, or Greenway neighborhoods, and I really liked those neighborhoods. I'm also not seeing much at all in the Cedar Mill or Cedar Hills areas. Does anyone know of any 3 (or 4) bedroom apartments that are nice, in in good areas? Most of theones I saw were on big roads... I guess that might be all that is available. I am just wondering if there are some tucked away (in good neighborhoods with good schools) that I didn't see. Any suggestions on Apartment complexes if I can't find a home to rent?

If we lived in West Beaverton, how likely is it that we could get a school transfer? Any experience with this? There was a duck pond in West Beaverton in this CUTE neighborhood. Loved it. It was around 152nd and Village Ave in the Four Seasons Neighborhood.

I also really loved Oak Hills. The elementary school was tucked away in the neighborhood and there was huge park across the street. I also loved the style of the homes in that neighborhood.

I really can't write any more, I loved all the neighborhoods (listed at top). I could go on and on...

Also, if any of you are familiar with these neighborhoods AND are familiar with Vancouver/Camas maybe you could help me...

Default don't know

I have no idea... I've just read about it all over the place. What people say, what is stated on greatschools.net and schooldigger.com

I know that you can't place a ton of weight on testing, but from my experience it does seem to match up, at least some.

If anyone else knows what is up with the Aloha schools, or if you've had good experiences, i'd like to know!
