Default Back from interview...

Well, I flew to Portland on Thursday, interviewed on Friday morning with a large, local company, and came home Friday evening. It was a panel interview, 3 hours long and incredibly detailed, and I was wiped out by the end. I very strongly expect to get an offer from the company, so I think I really will be coming to Portland with my family! (To appease those worried about me taking a job from locals, I guarantee there is not a single person in Portland with my profession that is unemployed.) Here's hoping I hear from them very soon!

At least Friday was a beautiful day in Portland - sunny, and kinda warm, even! The only snag was the driver who was to pick me up from the office building downtown to take me to the airport had car trouble when I got in his car - the battery had run down. Building security had jumper cables and we got it going, so I didn't miss my flight or anything.

Wish me luck!

Sorry about the cab.

Best of luck. Hope we gain a nice new family of residents soon!

It's not about "luck". It's all about strategy!!

If you haven't done so already, start sending out some Thank You/Follow Up letters or emails. Make sure it's crystal clear to them why you're the best candidate.
