Famous Dave's

Their BBQ is great, and their home-made bread pudding served hot with vanilla ice cream is unbelievable.

Coming soon to Tualatin.

The bar at Clyde Common makes the best cocktails in Portland. I've heard the food is pretty good too, though I've never had any.

Montage or Delta cafe for cheap soul food, Veritable Quandry for a nice treat, and any McMenimans for a pint of ruby. A burger and microbrews outside in the sunshine at Amnesia.

Pambiche! Everything is absolutely wonderful! And my Cuban boyfriend thinks it is some of the best Cuban food in the US outside of Miami.

There are so many excellent places to eat in Portland. If you like Indian food I recommend Tandoor downtown.

Oooh! We ate there once! It was wonderful. I have also eaten at Abhiruchi. They have a pretty decent buffet. Though my favorite indian buffet in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area is the one in the Fred Meyer parking lot off Walker road. It is in what looks like an old McDonalds, but I can't remember the name!

My two favorites are Than Tao on Hawthorne Blvd. and Old Wives Tale on E. Burnside. Also a great little place for breakfast is Zell's on Belmont St. (SE Portland).
