Oh Jen54, I wish I could but I'm an old gal who hasn't been able to figure out how to do it. But if you just scroll back through this thread, you'll see pictures that evoke the whole feel of today. It's just heavenly to me. I wish you were here too! You'd love it. Jump on a plane and come visit. I'll show you around and feed you some soup!

The trees outside are all colors of red and gold and the falling leaves waft through the air. It's going to last all day I think and I couldn't be happier. Time to make a big pot of soup and revel in the coziness of it all. Ahh! I so love the Pacific Northwest.

agree my friend................a most lovely day, in my humble opinion. A watch the beautiful leaves fall out my front window day, while the fireplace is blazing and I'm drinking coffee. My fur babies are all nestled in their blankets and I have chili in the crock pot. ahhhhhhhhhh

Yeah. it's a little slice of heaven, isn't it. But I swear to the gods, if it starts to clear up and get sunny later this afternoon, heads will roll. I HATE that! I'd be happy with 2 weeks straight of this! Enjoy your chili. I'm doing a vegetable beef barley soup with a dessert of sliced HoneyCrisp apples and Tillamook cheddar cheese. Life is sweet!

I took the dogs for a walk in Tryon State Park. Its beautiful now with everything damp and mossy under the tree canopies. My only complaint is that a white dog does not stay white in those conditions. Its a small price to pay.

no, she and the malti-poo just run right out and do their thing. They both have rain coats but unless it's raining really hard I don't put the rain gear on them.
The chi was born January 21st of 09 here but the malti-poo was born on the gulf coast. She too hated the heat and LOVES the snow. She is such a snow bunny.
