Hello everyone,

I made a new thread so that we can continue to discuss the sunny vs. cloudy preferences (and gloomy vs. non-gloomy) without derailing this picture thread. There is a poll too if you want to give your input. It's interesting to see what people are saying:

What do you prefer - sunny & mild or overcast & mild?

Thanks, that is good to know! I just sent a request for the Moderator to change it.

Can we get back to the pics, without arguments?

The purpose of this thread is to post photos and videos, not a spitting contest over semantics about how grey is grey. Less bickering and more photos, please.

Great idea. Note the cars with lights on in the daytime in these videos.

This was in early November, after returning from a week in Hawaii. Needless to say, I wasn't happy!

This was a few miles outside of Sandy, right after Christmas a few years ago. The snow level was pretty low that day. It took us 6 hours to drive from the Portland airport to Bend (which usually takes about 3.5 hours).

Here's the coast, right outside of Florence, in early April. Lots of sun breaks!

Newport on the same trip in April. It was freezing that day!

This was this past April in Hood River.
