Default Portland Area Musicians

I just recently learned about this young lady who lives in Milwaukie. Nice to see something like this from a [then] teenager, isn't it?

I wonder how many more children out there will never be able to accomplish something like this because of school cut in the arts...Here's hoping someday we will support the arts~~

YouTube - Andrea Johnson - Prelude & Fugue WTCII, J. S. Bach

sirensong123 is on a distinguished road
Well, we have a $50M+ Tram, and we're dumping $26M+ dollars on our roads that don't need no fixing, so if you don't like it, ya better let your senator know or just quit voting for politicians who want to spend your money wastefully. Or we can sing "Viva la stimulus.... "

Speaking of Musicians in Portland...

I'm wondering if there is a hardcore metal scene in portland?
Or is it all:

YouTube - YACHT - Psychic City (Voodoo City)
Not that there's anything wrong with that...in fact I like it....but...um

Any grind or deathcore doublebass playing doom metal bands in Portland?

Thanks, and please excuse me if the issue of Portland Musicians has been cover extensively before.
