oh I do so love this cool weather. All my family and friends in the deep south are green with envy, as they sweat through the long summers there.

And, I might add, I'll be elated when it gets too darn cold for the kids in my neighborhood to be out ALL day long, running up and down the road screaming!!! What is UP with kids and screaming nowadays??? If mine ever screamed for no good reason, I gave them a GOOD reason to scream

So................bring on the cold weather and or school time!!!!!

Yes, it's lovely indeed. Can't wait for fall.

I don't mind the kids. It's kind of a happy sound. And besides, my mom told me I was a screamer when I was a little kid, so who am I to judge,

Argh, yes!! I'm green with envy and red-faced from the horrible heat! However, this time next year I will be in Portland--what a relief it will be! I know you did your time in Florida, too. I think we can appreciate it more than many!

LOL.......no, this is not happy sounds. This is sounds as though the kids were being murdered right outside my house.
Plus it drives my dogs crazy when the windows are open to let in this cooooool air. The kids have learned it makes my dogs bark so they stop right outside,on the sidewalk, and proceed to provoke the dogs.........arrrrrrrrghhhhh
I do everything I can to stop the barking but can't stop the kids.........however---the parents could!!!
