In all agreement though, judging the character of a person on a 3 digit number is proof of how sad our society has become.
Yanno, if that's really what they did, I'm not so sure I would want to know. Yes I did sign an agreement for a background check. I thought I had nothing to hide, but I guess I did.

accountant87 is on a distinguished road
Does anyone know about entry level Staff Accountant jobs in the Portland area? I am a recent college graduate (BA Accounting), with two years experience in the non-profit field looking to move to Portland from Pensacola, FL.

I am not looking for an amazing position, just something to get me started in the area. Any advice?

Default Job market's improving, but....

I work for a staffing agency, and have seen more roles for just about every vertical other than the creative/artistic ones.

More programers, EE and ME, Buyers, Technical Writers, Mechanical Designers, accounting and related, manufacturing technicians, assemblers, and operators as well, to name a few.

So it looks like things are headed up. We are headed in to the annual job slump (other than seasonal) that happens around the winter holidays, so things will most likely dip again about half way through this month.

Good luck on your searches!!!
