locations for bridal shower in Portland, Oregon
Any suggestions for a place to have a bridal shower for 30women in March?? Either location that has catering or a place to bring caterer into. Daughter lives in Beaverton. Downtown location or surrounding areas of Beaverton would be great.
Thank you.

That's a pretty wide area to cover there, mary. Have any particular neighborhood in mind?
There's a place in Milwaukie called Broejte House on Oatfield Road. It's a pretty Victorian era house, with really nice gardens. However, everybody I know who got married there ended up divorced.

Elephant's Deli in Portland up on.. 22nd? (used to be up in the shopping center on Burnside and 23rd+) has a really nice room for special occasions and their catering is good.

Thanks for asking for clarifications. A place that is quaint and in Portland and surrounding area. My daughter lives in Beaverton. Downtown Portland or surrounding areas of Beaverton would be great. Thanks

OK. I'm much more familiar with the east side. Broetje House is really quite charming. I know of a few other places over on this side. I have a friend who lives in Beaverton, and when I speak to him tonight I'll ask him for a few suggestions.

I was supposed to go to an event at the Pittock Mansion last year but it got cancelled. So, I've never been but I hear its nice. Quaint, certainly. Don't know if they accomodate private parties but they just might. If not them one of the McMennamin's? Mixed reviews on them but isn't that everywhere?
