Default Moving to Beaverton with Q's

Greetings!

My husband and I are relocating to Beaverton in the next month and I am wondering what might be the best areas to look at that are safe and in my price range $1000-1350.

I was looking at Andover Park Apartments which certainly look nice in photos but that can be deceiving, any thoughts on this and surrounding area? Also looking at a home in Beaverton Murray Hill.

Been reading a bit about avoiding Aloha, Tualatin (sp?) and Cedar Hills. Any other areas to watch out for?

Thanks in advance!

Warmly, Lara

Cedar Hills is a very nice area, not sure why you want to avoid it, same with Tualatin. There's nothing inherently wrong with Aloha, but some parts are better than others.

Here are some previous threads that address this area:

And just to clarify, the Cedar Hills Mall is not the same as the Cedar Hills neighborhood.

I don't know the Andover apartments specifically, but you shouldn't be worried about the Murray-Scholls area in general. If you look on a map you can see how close it is to farmland on the west. That stretch of Scholls-Ferry makes for a very pretty drive (and a nice bypass for Hwy 217 for those of us in Hillsboro).
