Question thinking of moving to portland?

hello there my name is april and my hubby and i are thinking of moving to portland with are three children...we both have jobs that when can transfer with my question to you is in what area should i look to live in with my kids i would somewhere that is defintely family friendly i used to live in estacada oregon when i was younger with my grandparents that is when i was eight and now im 30 so im sure alot has changed so any input on the subject would be great and i will defintely thank you in advance

If your question is about finding family friendly locations around Portland I'd suggest you read some of the other threads here on the Portland forum. I'm not sure what the question is. There are some suggestions there on other threads about the best neighborhoods.

West side- almost every area in the hills. Raliegh Hills and bridelmile are good family areas as well. Dunthorpe (pricey) has great schools. Beaverton is probably OK, but is very lame in my opinion as is Tigard.
East Side- Mt. Tabor is one of the best. Eastmoreland is also nice.
