Phil please tell me what do you mean a culture shock, referring to Beaverton because that's one area I was looking into.

You're responding to a thread that's 5 years old. The original people in the discussion may not even be around anymore, and/or things on the ground may have changed in that time.

If you have a question about Beaverton today I would probably suggest starting a new thread over reviving this one.

I've seen a few of his posts recently as old threads are resurrected. He had some good perspectives on living in Portland.
