Default Portland/North Clackamas apartment listings?

I'm relocating to the Portland area and have scoured all the Craigslist apartment ads, and am still looking for an apartment. Are there any other good places to look for apartment listings for Portland and north Clackamas? Perhaps local newspaper websites or something? Thanks!

Local daily newspaper is the Oregonian. Web site:
Oregon Local News, Breaking News, Sports & Weather - OregonLive.com
BTW: the Oregonian is one of a dying breed of very good daily newspaper. Worth the cost of the newspaper.

I presume you figured out on Craigslist, that for the Portland area, there are small tabs across the top for the surrounding counties. Clackamas County is under the CLC tab. City of Portland is basically Multnomah County.

For very low end apartment hunting (so you know lower end of housing costs..) Housing Authority of Portland (HAP) and a housing database, The Housing Connection:
Housing Connections
Includes north and northwest Clackamas County.

Be aware, that inside the city of Portland, in the most desirable urban locations a lot of apartment housing is only a sign in front of the apartment building "Now Accepting Rental Applications." Word of mouth, waiting lists, and people browsing the neighborhood is all the advertisement needed. And as you expect, supply / demand in such neighborhoods affect rental costs. Outside Multnomah County, which has less apartment rental pressure, and lower property taxes for the landlord has to pay, the rent on an apartment is cheaper.

I have not used this site myself, but here is a link:
Clackamas OR Apartments- Apartment Locator and Apartment Finder Clackamas OR Apartments Apartments for Rent Online (http://www.aptselector.com/or/portland-clackamas.html - broken link)
