Default Is Portland a better city than Sacramento?

Hows the nightlife, skyline, prices, crime rates, etc., compared with Sactown.

The only downfall to Portland is that it's in Oregon.

I actually like Sacramento's skyline more than Portland. Crime rate is very low compared to Sac.

Portland is ten times the "city" Sacto is. Sacto has much better weather and access to the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe, though. it depends on what you want.

More culture (in terms of museums, theatre that kind of thing), more of a happening downtown, more variety in things to do, not as hot in the summer, more scenic, more liberal atmosphere and more fun by far than Sacto!

I am originally from San Jose, but we lived in Sac for 5 years. No comparison in my opinion,,,especially the crime part!! Portland, Or and all the surrounding cities are overall better quality of life. We could not be happier up here! Plus I will take the grey and rain over that heat any day!!
