How's that working for 3rd world countries, eh? The most common transmission method for infants is through the mother. Given that, the immune system is defeated from the start. Educate yourself, please.

This entire thread is a load of poop. Why would you turn down the advice of your pediatrician who you know spent 10-14 years learning everything there is to know about keeping babies safe and healthy in favor of a stranger who makes unsubstantiated claims on the internet? It's mind boggling.

My daughter has had all recommended vaccinations since she was born and has never suffered any ill effects. Nor has she suffered from any of the diseases for which she was vaccinated.

And when their immune systems can't fight off the virus, let them suffer and die, right?

While we're at it, let's bring back smallpox. Now there's a virus that give an immune system a run for its money.

Because even C and D students become drs as my husband says. Just because youre a dr doesnt mean you know everything. In that case, why did it take YEARS to get a ped to finally get us into the feeding team and get my daughter Pediasure? Maybe those past Peds knew the issues, maybe they didnt...most just didnt want to listen to ME.

Your husband is wrong about that. It is actually pretty hard to get into med school. Very few med schools admit students with a GPA under about 3.5, with a lot of heavy duty pre-reqs.
What

No, they don't know everything about everything, but the immunization schedule has been well studied. I can't answer your other question as I don't know anything about the situation. It's pretty much an axiom in pediatrics that the parents know their kids.

The schedule has been studied and everyone has their own thoughts on full vax, delayed, selected or none.

Its between you and your ped.

Everyone's own thoughts are not equal when it comes to vaccines. This is not an issue of "is red a prettier color than blue?" It's more like, "does water flow uphill or down?"
