Just found out i have placenta previa. Has anyone ever had it and did it go away on it's own?

How many weeks are you? I had it at 12 weeks but it raised up after that.

I never had one, but my mom had one when she was pregnant with my sister, and it resolved on its own.

My husband’s niece just had it. Diagnosed in the second trimester. She had to stop running and go easy, but the pregnancy proceeded normally. A few days before her scheduled c section, she began hemorrhaging and rushed to emergency. Very scary, but all is well. The baby was in ICU for a week, but is fine now.

I had it. They discovered it pretty early on and I had frequent ultrasounds. It was a complete one. It never got better and they knew early on I would have a c-section. Not sure if it was related or not, but I started contracting at 26 weeks and was admitted to the L&D to stop it for 4 days. After that I was on bedrest, which turned out to be a huge blessing because my boss was making my life he$$ and I know the stress was bad for me and my baby.

The one thing is, every time you have so much as a spot of blood, they will make you go to L&D to get checked.

I've had placenta previa in 1990's. It was my fourth month and I started to spot - frequently. I had fourth and a half months of bedrest. Drove me crazy. I was living in NYC. When I went out to the doctor, I saw spring - flowers and trees blooming for the first time. Made me realize how shut in was.

I am sorry for your situation. If it helps, it will become a distance memory.
