Piggybacking on the thread about birth times, how long were you in labor? I was surprised to see so many babies born in the daytime hours, but I realized that some of you may have gone into labor at night.

1: 16 hrs of total misery
2: 8 hours of realizing "oh! so THIS is what people who say you don't need drugs were experiencing! NOW I get it!"

1. 5.5 hrs
2. 4 hrs
3. 5 hrs
4. 3.5 hrs from water breaking, 2 hours from start of contractions, one hour (if that) from the time they finally decided to admit me and give me a bed - he was quite speedy (we delivered his head while the nurse had her back turned trying to get the linens/chux pads stuff ready for the birth) - doctor made it in for the post-game show.

14 hours of labor until they proceeded with the emergency C-section. He was born around 12:50 PM.

Never got to experience a labor pain. She was five days late--doctor sent me for a fetal non-stress test--she was under fetal distress, and they gave me a C-section right then and there.

I was so terrified of the labor, too, figuring I'd had an easy pregnancy that would be my punishment--but it took a whole new twist at the end.

Wow I am surprised with how fast the labor was you had to push for 15 min. Mine were fast but not that fast and I never pushed more than about 3 min and only 2-3 pushes at the most.

I have been told my body was made for making babies. Getting pregnant is also incredibly fast and easy for me. Too bad I am not a Duggar. Four kids is my absolute limit and some days I am hanging on by my fingernails to my sanity.
