(NewsCore) - Thirtysomethings could routinely conceive babies using in vitro fertilization (IVF) within a decade because it will become better than sex as a means of reproduction, according to scientists cited in The (London) Sunday Times.

According to a new report, advances in IVF technology mean it will be possible to produce embryos with a success rate of virtually 100 percent, and cultivate them in computer-controlled storage facilities.

I'm sorry but I am going to be blunt here....sex or test tube babies?
I'm pretty sure i'd be having sex like everyday if I wanted a baby...

I mean really...what's better than sex?
Ok maybe baskin robbins cake icing ice cream but im jus sayin..

Wanting a kid is an awesome excuse to have all the sex in the world..

But then again I'm 20 and my world revolves around so little...

Well sex is a heck of a lot cheaper than IVF.

I'm shocked by such ideas.
We had to go through IVF, because we had no other choice if we wanted to have a baby. We would never have gone through the hell it is if we had been able to conceive the old fashioned way!

This is just stupid. If a couple has no reason that they believe they are infertile then they should be trying for 6 months if the woman is 35 or older and 1 yr if the woman is under 35 without success before going to IVF. I mean unless you are wealthy why resort to IVF before trying the good old fashioned way?

I'm sorry you had to go through that. It must be horrible. All that pain, anticipation, money and no guarantee of it even working. I can't even imagine how depressing it must be to have a failed IVF.

I guess it's devastating. We were lucky enough to try only once, but some people try 4, 5 times and it still doens't work... It's very hard psychologically speaking.
